Today in Math class, one kid literally fell asleep - and he was out cold. In fact, even when we hushed and then resumed talking, he didn't wake up. Eventually, the Math teacher had to wake him up.
Why can't school start later in the day, around nine o'clock instead of eight? It doesn't change much, except the fact that kids will be more alert and attentive, resulting in better memorization and test grades.
I know that I would rather go to school an our or two later and get out an hour later.
